I am a Norf London/ East Anglia-based performance artist and one-half of performance duo Sh!t Theatre. The things I make explore the silly as subversive, somewhere between performance art, poetry and comedy. Often there is wine. My first full-length show Oh Baby is in development with support from Camden People's Theatre
Sh!t Theatre have been writing and performing together since May 2010. We were winners of the Total Theatre Award 2013 for 'emerging company' and an Arches Brick Award. Our 2014 show Guinea Pigs on Trial was shortlisted for the Amnesty Freedom of Expression Award. We've currently got two new shows in development, Women's Hour and Letters to Windsor House
I have shown work nationally and internationally since 2010 at venues/ events such as: HOT! Festival at Dixon Place New York City, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Duckie at the RVT,Duckie at the Barbican, Shambala Festival, The Liverpool Bluecoat Gallery, The Basement Brighton, Stoke Newington International Airport, Land of Kings Festival 2012, The Resistance Gallery, Shunt, The Roundhouse, Toynbee Studios, Mutiny, UK Uncut, Rich Mix, Laugh Out London and on Resonance 104.4 FM.
I graduated from Queen Mary, University of London in 2010 with a BA (Hons) in Hispanic Studies & Drama which has got me far and I also qualified to Level 3 (Advanced certificate) in Wine and Spirits with the WSET which has got me drunk.
I trained in long-form improvisation with Second City's David Shore and iO co-founder Mark Beltzman and have performed in New York, London and Edinburgh. I am part of all-female improv extravaganza The Alphabetties.
